Drawing on over 17 years of GRC experience, Shane York, Director of Information Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Scout Motors, knew firsthand the frustrations of using legacy systems like RSA Archer—that GRC platforms could be difficult to configure and at times often fell short of meeting nuanced organizational needs. With these criteria in mind, York conducted a comprehensive evaluation, creating a detailed 50-point feature analysis that led him to evaluate nearly 20 different tools before discovering a platform aligned with his vision—StandardFusion.
