StandardFusion secures licensing agreement for German IT-Grundschutz Standard

The developers of StandardFusion, have secured a licensing agreement with the German Federal Office for Security in Information Technology (BSI Bundesamt fur Sicherheit in der Informationtechnik), to include the IT Baseline Protection Catalogs (IT-Grundschutz) within StandardFusion. The agreement includes the integration of BSI 100-1, BSI 100-2, BSI 100-3, and BSI-4 standards, as well as any supplemental releases to the standards.

“We are extremely excited to have the IT-Grundschutz standard within StandardFusion”, says Mirek Pijanowski, Director of Fireloft Inc. “We know first-hand the importance that German organizations place on security and privacy, and we’re looking forward to becoming an integral part of their compliance and audit programs.”

The IT Grundschutz standard was developed by BSI to help organizations identify and implement computer security measures. The goal is to provide organizations with a great level of security for their IT systems. The standard will be used within StandardFusion to allow an organization to perform a gap analysis to the standards, determining what is needed in order to achieve compliance and certification.
